For the month of May, Angel City Pit Bulls will be celebrating Back in Black II, a campaign started by Best Friends Animal Society to highlight and celebrate black shelter and rescue dogs and cats, and increase adoptions.
Luna is a sweetheart who seems relaxed and happy with every person and dog she meets. Luna is about one year old, and came to Angel City Pit Bulls from the Baldwin Park Shelter, at the Best Friends Super Adoption.

Last week we were alerted to an 8 week old puppy with a fractured jaw. He was found injured and running the streets. Unable to find medical help for him, they brought him to the West LA Shelter.
Unlike my husband, I had grown up with dogs; he hadn’t grown up with any pets. He was curious and excited by the prospect, but with one condition: AS LONG AS WE DO NOT ADOPT A PIT BULL.
