Toast has been adopted from the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! She was adopted by a great couple who said goodbye to their pit bull about a year and a half ago. A friend of theirs saw Toast at the pet adoption center and let them know that they had to come meet her.
George's new parents decided to add a second dog to their family after seeing how much their adopted pit bull Daisy loved to play with other dogs. After recently moving into a house with a yard, they decided it was time to find Daisy a sibling!
Apple has been adopted via the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! Apple's new mama decided to take her 15 month old daughter on an outing there because she loves animals.
Maddie (fka Petunia) joined ACPB with medical issues, and while she was spending time healing at a local vet's office a family saw her while she was out on a walk. They asked to meet her and knew instantly that they wanted to adopt her. Fortunately for Maddie, they were willing to wait until she was ready to be discharged from the vet.
Rue (fka Sprinkles) has been adopted! Rue's family are repeat adopters with ACPB. After she joined our program, they offered to foster her and she never left their home.
Two-Bit (of The Outsiders puppies) has been adopted via the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! We think he looks just as excited as we are to announce that the final puppy from The Outsiders has found his forever home.
Maggie's (fka Magnolia) new dad is a dedicated ACPB volunteer and has loved so many ACPB dogs. When Maggie joined our foster program, he expressed immediate interest in adopting her.
Goose has been adopted and found his place as a wingman for an amazing family! Goose's new family applied to adopt him shortly before one of our adoption events. We set up a call with them to talk about our adoption process and they thoroughly enjoyed our description of him and could not wait to set up a meet and greet.
Elsie Mae's family had been interested in adopting a dog who was good with cats. During their meet and greet with Elsie Mae, they were taken with her sweet disposition and the adoption was made official.
Wilma's adoption story is particularly special for us at ACPB - repeat adopters with us, Wilma's mama is our Gratitude Coordinator, and this adoption story exemplifies the poem "A Dog's Last Will and Testament."
