Soleil is a fun loving girl who loves to play, get belly rubs, and join in for any activity you’re doing around the house. A little dancing? She’s right there. Kisses? She’s always ready! Couch time? Yup, Soleil’s in. Being part of the action is all she wants. Soleil loves people and thinks that dinner parties with the pod are not to be missed! Her foster mom describes her as the life of the party.

When she’s not right by your side loving everything you have on the agenda, Soleil loves to chew on her toys and enjoys hanging out in her crate when it’s time for some rest. She also is an avid TV watcher and her foster mom says she takes in everything passing by on the screen.

Soleil joined us with a heart condition called pulmonary stenosis. She underwent a balloon valvuloplasty that has helped her heart function much better, but she is still in congestive heart failure. Though we’re not sure how much time Soleil has with us, she’s sure of one thing: Every day is the best day ever and every night should be a party with all of her best friends! Her condition is currently managed with low cost medications and occasional follow ups with her BFF cardiologist, so daily life with Soleil is no different than any other dog, and she’ll make it just as fun--if not more!

Due to her medical condition, she’ll be up for casual strolls around the neighborhood, but isn’t up for any hikes or big time cardio activities. We think Soleil would be happy in a home with another well matched dog but could also hold down the fort solo.

About 2 years old and 50 pounds, Soleil is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
