Sir Scooby

If you’re looking for a real life teddy bear in senior dog form, Sir Scooby is your guy. 13 years young, Sir Scooby has had a lifetime to cultivate his stellar personality. He oozes with sweetness, enjoys everyone he meets, and makes himself right at home to take naps next to you, sunbathe in the yard, and never let a scrap of food go uneaten. He enjoys a quick jaunt up the street with an eager trotting step, and gets the occasional spurt of zoomie energy with his toy that’s almost too cute to handle.

Sir Scooby currently lives with two elementary aged kids who make sure he gets lots of adoration and snuggles, as well as some sneaky pizza crusts and salami--hey, he deserves it! He loves being the center of attention, though usually he’s taking a nap in the middle of it. Sir Scooby has lived with dogs in his foster home, but has also been the only dog and enjoys play dates with his friends. We think he would be very happy in a home with other well matched dogs, or on his own--as long as he’s getting loved on, he’s not picky!

About 13 years old and 55 pounds, Sir Scooby is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
