Shenandoah is ready to live her best life with you! Shenandoah came to our program with 6 underage puppies in tow. After seeing them off to their adoptive homes, Shenandoah is happily enjoying the benefits of being an independent lady once again. She enjoys trotting around the neighborhood, snuggling up for pets, and curling up in her crate for luxurious naps. Whether you’re looking for a dog that will eagerly greet you after your day at work, need an errands buddy, or just want to curl up and watch Netflix, Shenandoah is ready to be part of your life.

Shenandoah did well on her initial cat test, and we think with a slow intro and proper guidance, she could potentially be successful in a home with cats. Shenandoah also was a big fan of playgroups with her signature play bow moves. We think she’d be perfectly happy going home with another well matched dog, but this former mama is also more than ready to be your one and only and soak up every bit of attention you’ve got!

About 5 years old and 48 pounds, Shenandoah is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
