Get to know Magico, and you’ll be rewarded with what his foster mom describes as a “really cute, huggable, dorky best friend.” This boy is big enough to easily contain multitudes, including being a fantastic pal to dogs, an eager to please companion, a goofy overgrown puppy, and, well, a bit of a big baby who’s still learning about the world. He’s been doing fantastically well in his foster home with the help of yummy snacks, some canine friends, and structured introductions to new people, who then become part of Magico’s Magic Friendship Club.

Magico is happy to frolic the day away, chew on his toys, do some training, or hit the block for some strolling. He’s also able to wind down with the family when that’s the mood. He has taken to his crate very well, and is happy to chill there, if there are parts of your day that don’t involve snuggling with 100 lbs of floppy puppy.

Magico has been the big gorilla puppy king of playgroups, and loves to goof around with other dogs. He has shown himself to be a flexible player, doing well with the rough and rowdy crowd but also adapting to dainty tea party types and everything in between. We think Magico could potentially live with a cat with a proper introduction, too. (Oh, and he’s even uneventfully met a tortoise!)

About 11 months old and about 100 pounds, Magico is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
