Koda is a lap dog who looks like a teddy bear--his tail never stops wagging and every new person is a friend for him to cuddle with. At home, he loves spending time with his family, cherishing his special toys, and finding a sunbeam to nap in.

Koda is finishing up heartworm treatment, and he’s so excited to kick his heartworms to the curb so he can begin his new life full of love and adventures with you! He has a lovely flexible energy level, and while he currently has to keep things low key, he’ll be happy to become your neighborhood walking companion, hit the trails, or just snuggle up at home with you.

Koda is reported to have lived with another dog and children in his home prior to joining our program. He also briefly met a cat and thought that was pretty neat! About 2 years old and 55 pounds, Koda is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
