Iona

Iona joined us from the South LA shelter and has been making best friends everywhere she’s gone since. We love her laid back, positive attitude. Her tail starts going at the smallest bit of attention--just say, “Hey, Iona!” and you’ll hear a happy thump, thump, thump.

Iona thinks she is a lap dog and enjoys long snuggle sessions with everyone she meets. This mellow girl would be a great movie watching buddy or a picnic partner for a relaxing day in the park.

Iona does well with other dogs and we think she would be perfectly happy in a home with or without other dogs. Iona also lived in a foster home with a four year old child and enjoyed everything that their friendship brought!

About 5 years old and 55 pounds, Iona is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
