Cory is a fun loving, smart goofball who’s ready to be your sidekick! His foster family describes him as a quick learner, and he loves picking up new skills and tricks, as well as figuring out the latest puzzle toys. And if you need help in the kitchen, Cory’s curious nose will be right there with you--he doesn’t turn his nose up at veggies, either!

After he’s had his daily walks and mental enrichment, Cory loves snuggling up for belly rubs. In fact, he spends a good amount of his time flopped on his back waiting for some love. That is, when he’s not in full sploot position. Either way, he’s sure to win your heart with his silly adult puppy antics.

Cory is recovering from a condition called discospondylitis, so the next 6 months to a year of his life will involve medication and avoiding high octane activities. Though he enjoys other dogs, rowdy play parties are off the table for now while he focuses on his recovery. And soon enough, he’ll be back in action and ready to take the world by storm!

About 1 year old and 55 pounds, Cory is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
