Betsy

Meet Betsy! Betsy joined our program during the busy 4th of July period from the South LA shelter. She spent her first official day as a foster dog getting a long walk, photos, and a bath from volunteers, and she took it all in stride. In her foster home, Betsy is calm and well-behaved in the house. When she got the coveted invite onto the luxurious comfy chair, she snuggled up and enjoyed it!

Betsy warms up quickly to new people and enjoys all the admiration she gets from her neighbors during her walks--and she’s never turned down a snuggle session with a volunteer. Betsy has done well with other dogs and we think she’d be perfectly happy in a home with or without other dogs. With a slow intro, we think Betsy could live in a home with cats.

About 2 years old and 55 pounds, Betsy is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
