Miss Scarlet Found a Forever Home

Miss Scarlett's (fka Sugar) mom met and adopted her at the NKLA Adoption Weekend event. Sugar was the first dog she met when she arrived at the event on Saturday, but she wanted to look around a bit more. Then, her son came to the event on Sunday (he had asked his mom what she was looking for and she said a small, sweet dog) and he saw Sugar, took a picture of her, and sent it to his mom. When she realized the dog in the photo was Sugar, she came back to see her, assuming it was meant to be!

Now called Scarlett, she is settled in her new home with a loving mom. They are taking it slow and easy so that Scarlett feels confident and less shy with new experiences. We are sure that with loving patience and guidance from her new mom, which she is committed to providing, Scarlett will blossom. Congratulations!
