Bishop & Theo

Bishop and Bucky Bear (fka Theo) have been ADOPTED! Puppies Bishop and Theo came to us via the South LA shelter Intervention Table. They were hand raised by a sweet man after their mom died. Their siblings found homes but the two boys remained without homes of their own, as their current owner at the time recently lost his job and knew that he couldn't afford to raise them. He cried when he brought them to the intervention table, which was very touching, and we were happy to help them find homes.

Bishop had a severely deformed leg which required amputation. While he was waiting for his surgery date, he was in a foster home and often went to work with his foster dad. A coworker fell in love with Bishop and patiently waited for his surgery and recovery to bring him home. Bishop joins an older pit bull sibling as well.

Theo went to the NKLA Pet Adoption Center​ but didn't stay long--his adopters met him and couldn't believe how calm and well-behaved he was for a young pup. They've re-named him Bucky Bear and are showering him with all the love and devotion.
