Meet Rufus! This sweet boy wins over everyone he meets, from shelter staff to volunteers to his foster parents. Rufus has settled right into being an Angel City foster dog, enjoying everything from a pack hike to some quality snoozing in his comfy crate. Now he’s ready to win over his future family so he can keep the good times coming.

Rufus enjoys other dogs and considers himself quite the social guy. Within just a few days of entering our program, he already had numerous walking dates set up with his new dog friends. Rufus also did well on his initial cat test. With a slow introduction and continued training, we think Rufus might be able to go to a home with a feline friend.

About 1 year old and 45 pounds, Rufus is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
