ACPB On Animal Planet's Hit Show 'Pit Boss'

Being that Angel City Pit Bulls is a Los Angeles based organization, it's not surprising we'd eventually end up on television, right?! This season, we are honored to be featured on multiple episodes of the popular Animal Planet show Pit Boss, featuring Shorty Rossi, pit bull rescuer and our friend. 

Shorty overcame a turbulent childhood, followed by young adult years rife with gang violence and jail time. After serving over 10 years in prison, Shorty turned his life around and began to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Born a little person, Shorty capitalized on what made him special, and not only became a star (appearing in many films with A-list celebs), but also a solid businessman, forming a successful talent agency for Little People in show business.

However, Shorty's biggest passion in life has always been the pit bulls! He formed Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue here in LA, an organization that works to help relieve the suffering of and prevent cruelty to pit bulls through education and activism. Much like the work we do at Angel City Pits, Shorty's main goal is to educate the community and restore the breed's reputation.

Pit Boss premiered in January, 2010 and is now in its 5th season on Animal Planet. The program follows Shorty and his team as they rescue and rehabilitate pits in the LA area. Shorty and his crew graciously invited ACPB to join forces with his crew and be featured on the show - in fact we have already been spotted in three episodes this season!
