Scott had been looking for a dog for quite some time but just hadn't felt that "love connection". Then he saw a photo of Diamond, now known as Poppins. When he met her, it was love at first sight for both! Congratulations Poppins and Scott!
Gertie has been adopted ... by her foster parents! Sara and Tyler came to ACPB looking to foster, but they didn't know that Gertie would steal their hearts. When they realized that simply thinking about the possibility of Gertie heading "home" with someone else made them sad, they knew she was already home with them.
We are extremely excited to announce a very special adoption story that has been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. Steve has been adopted!
Pickles and Ice Cream have both been adopted! We met these two 4 month old puppies via the the South LA Intervention program. Both were so cute and easygoing, they were adopted quickly into wonderful families with other doggie siblings. Ice Cream even has some young human siblings as well, and she is doing great with them.
Remember our 9 little reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and of course Rudolph? They were rescued along with their mom from the South LA shelter just before Christmas. Well, we are happy to report that they all have been adopted and are growing up nicely in their new homes.
Maeby (fka Kara) has been adopted! Her new family is very active and loves to hike with their other female pit bull named George. Everyone is so excited to have another hiking partner. We think they look wonderful together!
Enzo (fka Nigel) has been adopted from the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! Enzo's new mom saw him on the website and knew he was the right dog for her as soon as she met him. She had already purchased him a Kong, which apparently is his favorite thing in the world, so he felt at home right away. Congratulations Enzo!
Khloe (fka Ricki) has been adopted! Khloe's new family have it all: another dog to play with, some cats to hang out with, and a couple of fun daughters to cuddle as well. She is in heaven! Khloe's family recently lost an older dog that they had rescued and nursed back to good health years ago, so they were very excited to meet Khloe and provide another shelter dog with a wonderful life. Congratulations Khloe, you hit the jackpot!
Gemma has been adopted from the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! Gemma joins an 8 year old furry brother named Oliver. Oliver's companion, a labrador, had recently passed away and he was having a difficult time adjusting to being an only dog. Larry and Erin decided to find a friend for him and Gemma was just the perfect fit. Her grin says it all. Congratulations to the whole family!
Pippy has been adopted from the NKLA Pet Adoption Center and she's so happy about it she is bounding for joy! Pippy came to Angel City Pit Bulls via South LA Animal shelter where she was a play group superstar. She is a people pleaser and we know she is going to do just great in her new home. Congratulations Pippy!
