When we first met Pebble, she was nursing our now-adopted “Beach puppies” litter. Now, she’s living the independent lifestyle and has proven to be a total goofball--you’re likely to find her rolling around on her back, legs stretched out, waiting to play! Each morning she bounds out of her crate, ready to enjoy the best day ever.

One of her newfound favorite activities is going on car rides, especially if you happen to be making a stop at the pet store so she can pick out a new toy. In fact, she’s made herself quite useful at her foster home as a toy tester and appreciator by playing with all the toys her canine foster brother has rejected!

Pebble has found that making true friends in the big city can be a process, but she thinks her foster parents are great. She loves to be the center of their attention (and the little spoon during snuggle time). We know that her future family will win her over quickly with just a little bit of patience. Dog friends, though, are a different story. Pebble made fast friends with the resident 19-lb senior dog in the house, and they’ve become a formidable little team! She also enjoys playing with larger dogs. We think Pebble would love living with other dogs.

About 2 years old and 55 pounds, Pebble is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
