Maxwell

Sometimes one sentence from a foster family says it all. In Maxwell’s case, it’s this one: “Maxwell absolutely adores people and likes to get as close as possible to you for maximum snuggles and pets.” When he’s not enjoying family time, Maxwell loves finding a toy and will happily entertain himself with a stuffy to his heart’s content. He also quite enjoys treats, which will make your walks lots of fun!

Maxwell has a nice flexible energy level which will make him a great buddy for neighborhood walks or hikes, or a day of lounging around the house. He’s happy to be your steadfast work from home buddy or join you for your plans--just say the word and Maxwell will be by your side! Maxwell currently lives with another dog in his foster home.

We think he’d be happy to go home with another well-matched dog, but could also hold down the fort solo. About 7 years old and 65 pounds, Maxwell is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
