Colette’s foster mom sums it up best when she said, “Colette is genuinely the sweetest, most relaxed, sleepiest dog I have ever met!” She loves sleeping and cuddling up next to you on the couch (or floor, or bed, or wherever you are) and just being around her human friends. She also loves long car rides and will fall asleep in the backseat like a pro. She is a great errand-helper and is just happy to be there for the ride.

Though Colette is low key and loves to lounge around the house, she’s also up for a walk or exercise if you are. She can hold her own on hikes and long walks (she’s been able to conquer a 2 hour hike) as long as she can sleep off all of her hard work later. Colette has been a fantastic work from home buddy with her calm, quiet, snuggly house manners and flexible energy.

Colette recently graduated from the Paws For Life prison training program, where she received 6 weeks of training. She knows her basic commands and enjoys all sorts of treats, so she’d be happy to keep honing her skills with you. Colette’s ideal household would be as the only pet, with older kids or adults, and most importantly with plenty of snuggles and affection from her family!

About 5 years old and 60 lbs, Colette is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
