Carter

Carter joined our program from the East Valley shelter during our fire relief efforts. To answer everyone’s question: Yes, his muzzle is as soft as it looks. One smooch and you’ll be hooked! This sweet, smushy boy has been spending his time learning more about the world while in his foster homes.

Carter has enjoyed his training sessions and is really proud of the progress he’s been making on the basics like loose leash walking. He’s looking forward to finding a forever family that will continue to show him the ropes, all while appreciating his puppyish grin. When he’s not expanding his resume, Carter enjoys getting loved on by his human friends and working on his tank bone and frozen peanut butter kong in his crate.

About 3 years old and 55 pounds, Carter is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
